Welcome to Violation Radar, Inc. (“Violation Radar,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, messaging
services, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”). Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy
Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- Use of the Services is void where prohibited by law.
- By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are legally permitted to do so.
2. Changes to These Terms
- Notice: Updated Terms will be posted with a new “Last Revised” date.
- Effective Date: Changes take effect immediately unless otherwise stated.
- Your Responsibility: Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Privacy & Communications (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

SMS / A2P 10DLC Registration
- By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages related to alerts, updates, or limited promotional communications.
- Opt-In Requirement: We only send text messages if you expressly consent (e.g., checking an opt-in box or texting a keyword).
- Opt-Out: Text STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
- Help: Text HELP for assistance.
- Message Frequency: Frequency varies based on your settings.
- Charges: Standard message and data rates may apply.
- Compliance: We comply with TCPA, CTIA, FCC/FTC, and applicable California and San Francisco consumer codes.
4. Account Creation & Security
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.
- You accept all risks of unauthorized access. Notify us immediately if you suspect a security breach.
5. Payment & Subscription Services
- Some Services require payment. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees.
- Recurring Billing: Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled prior to renewal.
- Payment Methods: You must maintain current payment information. If a charge fails, we may suspend or terminate your account.
- Refunds: Except where required by law, all payments are non-refundable.
6. Your Content & Conduct
You are solely responsible for any content you post, transmit, or make available through the Services.
You may not upload, share, or otherwise make available content that:
- Is illegal, unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or deceptive.
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights of others.
- Contains spam, mass marketing, political campaigning, or unsolicited commercial solicitations.
- Contains malware, viruses, corrupted files, or disruptive code.
- Exposes personal information of others without consent.
You further agree NOT to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or networks connected to them.
- Attempt to bypass security or rate-limiting features.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Harass, stalk, or threaten other users.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account.
7. Violation Radar Materials & Intellectual Property
- All designs, text, graphics, images, software, logos, and content (excluding user content) are owned by Violation Radar or its licensors.
- You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Services for their intended purpose only.
- You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, scrape, publicly display, or resell our Services.
8. Third-Party Services & Content
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or applications. We do not control or endorse, and are not responsible for, third-party content or policies.
Content from government sources or other third parties may contain errors; we do not guarantee accuracy.
9. DMCA & Copyright Notice
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material on our Services infringes your copyright, send a DMCA Notice to:

Accounts of repeat infringers may be terminated.
10. Legal Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- AS IS: The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
- No Warranties: We disclaim all express and implied warranties.
- Liability Cap: Maximum liability is the greater of $100 or amounts paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
- No Consequential Damages: We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Violation Radar, its officers, employees, and contractors against claims arising from your use of the Services.
12. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
- Contact support@violationradar.com for disputes.
- If unresolved, disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration through JAMS under Consumer Arbitration Rules.
- Venue: San Francisco, CA, unless otherwise agreed.
- No Class Actions: You waive class/representative proceedings.
- Small claims court remains an option.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, non-payment, or legal reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by U.S. law without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Violation Radar.
16. Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
